Ukraine Freedom School is a 501c3 NGO that empowers individuals through education, advocacy, and community-building. We are supporting the resilience and freedom of the Ukrainian people, at the frontline of world freedom, during their ongoing struggle for sovereignty and human rights.

I am a mother of three children, two of whom were adopted and have special educational needs. Through my personal experience, I realized that traditional schools cannot always provide the individualized support and learning environment that some children require.

 

To meet the needs of my own daughter, I launched the educational project — a place where every child is valued as an individual, receives personalized attention, and can learn in a comfortable, supportive, and inclusive environment.

 

Implementation of this idea became real with a help of Ukraine Freedom School. I hold a degree in Economics and previously worked as an auditor at one of the Big Four professional services firms. My professional background, combined with my experience as a parent, has shaped my commitment to creating educational opportunities that help every child thrive.

Founder's Letter - Fall 2026

Why do Ukrainians—both civilians and those serving in the armed forces—continue to stand against Russian imperialism?
 
At its heart, the answer is about the children.
People make extraordinary sacrifices because they know that this struggle is not only about the present. It is about whether the next generation will grow up free: free to learn, to express themselves, to build their own communities, and to determine the future of their country.
That is also why Ukraine Freedom School promotes English-language education. English gives young Ukrainians another way to communicate with people across Europe and throughout the world. It opens access to education, ideas, friendships, and opportunities that extend far beyond national borders.
Our aim is to help prepare a new generation of confident global communicators—young people who can tell Ukraine’s story, participate fully in the international community, and build relationships across cultures.
The present will eventually become the past. What remains is the future, and the future belongs to our children. We must give them the knowledge, confidence, and tools they will need to protect freedom and contribute to a more peaceful world.
It is difficult to fully express our gratitude to everyone in the United States and elsewhere who supports Ukraine’s fight for freedom and invests in its future generations. Your support makes this work possible.
